Duties/Responsibilities of Diagnostic Radiology Physician:

  • Interpret Medical Imaging: Analyze and interpret diagnostic images, including X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, ultrasounds, and other imaging modalities to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Provide Expert Consultations: Collaborate with referring physicians and healthcare providers to deliver timely and accurate imaging reports and recommendations.

  • Perform Image-Guided Procedures: Conduct minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as biopsies and drain placements, as needed.

  • Ensure Quality and Safety: Maintain high standards of image quality, accuracy, and patient safety in compliance with professional and institutional guidelines.

  • Utilize Advanced Technology: Operate and adapt to evolving imaging technologies and software to ensure precision in diagnostic imaging.

  • Adhere to Ethical Standards: Uphold patient confidentiality, medical ethics, and professional integrity in all aspects of practice.
