Astrya Global, a San Diego-based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Clinical Director (LCSW, LMFT, or PSYL) for a California state Behavioral Health facility in Weaverville, CA. Qualifications of Clinical Director (PSYL, LCSW, or LMFT):

  • Must hold an active LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), or PSYL (Licensed Psychologist) license in California.

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a behavioral health setting.

  • Knowledge of Medi-Cal regulations and mental health service coordination.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Duties/Responsibilities of Clinical Director (PSYL, LCSW, or LMFT):

  • Oversee clinical operations and ensure quality mental health services.

  • Review mental health assessments and approve Medi-Cal services.

  • Assign clients to appropriate clinicians based on caseloads and needs.

  • Provide diagnostic reviews for crisis events and Justice-Involved Persons.

  • Supervise and evaluate clinical staff, including training and travel approvals.

  • Facilitate clinical meetings and collaborate with psychiatrists, medical assistants, and crisis teams.

  • Participate in leadership meetings, audits, and policy development.
