A hospital in Irvine, CA is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant. Provider open to rotating weekends with days of the week off preferred. 35 hours required per week/70 hours every two weeks.

Qualifications of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA):

• Active California Physician Assistant License

• Active BLS Certification

• Active DEA license

• Board Certification required

• Proficiency in EPIC

• COVID vaccine and one booster required

• 1 year experience emergency medicine within the last 3 years

Duties/Responsibilities of Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA):

• Provide care to mainly Fast Track patients with physician oversight– lower acuity, but must be comfortable with higher acuity if needed in main ER

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

• Document patient care in medical records
