A California state correctional facility in Soledad, CA is looking for Psychiatric Technicians for the outpatient unit. These positions are 6-month terms with the ability to extend. Multiple shift schedules are available.

Qualifications of Psychiatric Technician (LPT):

  • 1 year of experience as a Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

  • Current CA LPT License

  • BLS certification from American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities of Psychiatric Technician (LPT):

  • Provide psychiatric care to patients in a State Correctional Facility

  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans

  • Administer medication and treatments

  • Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to physicians
