A California state correctional facility is looking for clinical psychologists. These locum tenens positions are 6-month terms with the ability to extend. Multiple shift schedules are available, please inquire about your preferred schedule.

Qualifications of Clinical Psychologist:

  • Current CA Psychology License

  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities of Clinical Psychologist:

  • Conduct scientific studies of behavior patterns and cognitive function related to mental health

  • Observe and interview individuals, recording interactions to assist in clinical psychology diagnosis and treatment

  • Research psychological, emotional, and behavioral patterns and identify issues to provide effective treatment plans

  • Diagnose potential disorders and develop individualized treatment plans

  • Discuss possible methods of treatment with patients, including therapy and medication
