A non-profit is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Psychologist to join their team, specializing in working with developmentally disabled individuals across a broad age range (3 years through adulthood). The ideal candidate will possess substantial real-world experience in conducting comprehensive assessments using tools such as the WISC-V, WAIS-IV, Woodcock-Johnson, C-TONI, ADOS, ADIR, SRS, CARS, and ABAS. Strong interviewing skills are essential, as responsibilities include evaluating clients through interviews, reviewing external reports, and determining the necessity for additional assessments to establish Lanterman Eligibility in strict accordance with the Lanterman Act. The role also involves effectively communicating eligibility decisions to families and participating confidently in legal proceedings, including court testimonies and fair hearings. Qualifications of Clinical Psychologist:

  • Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology from an accredited educational facility

  • Licensed to practice by the State of California Board of Psychology

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in which a significant portion of time has been spent in programs or services for the developmentally disabled is required.

  • Use of an automobile, possession of a valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or the ability to provide for independent transportation.

Duties/Responsibilities of Clinical Psychologist:

  • Evaluates and/or provides behavioral information on developmentally disabled individuals and their families as required for evaluation, diagnosis, program planning and consultation.

  • Assists in matters related to psychology, specifically to the provision of comprehensive services to people with developmental disabilities.

  • Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary diagnostic and consultation team of the Agency.

  • Participates as teacher/consultant to Agency personnel involved in the development and delivery of services to people with developmental disabilities served by San Andreas Regional Center.

  • Assists in the development of new programs where need arises and in the ongoing evaluation of programs for the developmentally disabled operated by the Agency or by agencies and professionals within the region.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned, (such as conservatorship petitions and competency to stand trial evaluations, and diversion plans).
