Qualifications of REGISTERED NURSE (RN):

• Current CA registered nurse license

• 1 year of registered nurse experience

• BLS certification from American Heart Association

Duties/Responsibilities of REGISTERED NURSE (RN):

• Maintain accurate and complete health care records and reports.

• Administer medications to patients, monitoring them for side effects and reactions.

• Provide patient care in a secure and respectful manner, ensuring that all interactions adhere to correctional facility protocols.

• Record patient vital signs and medical information.

• Monitor, report, and record symptoms or changes in patient conditions.

• Work collaboratively with healthcare team members in planning, implementing, or evaluating patient nursing care plans.

• Modify patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
