Location: Fontana, CA
Setting: Hospital
Term: 6 months with option to extend
Shift Schedule: Mon-Sat, 2 OR’s, 6:30am-4:30pm
Pay Rate: $375-$380/hr
A hospital in Fontana, CA is looking to hire an Anesthesiology Physician to cover General Anesthesia - General surgery, Orthopedics, GYN, Urology, possibly small bit of Neuro but not likely. No OB or Cardiac. Facility does employ CRNAs as well - candidates should be comfortable with the rare occurrence of needing to assist.

Qualifications of Anesthesiology Physician
Active California Physician License
Board Certified Anesthesiologist
Active BLS certification
Active DEA license
EPIC experience preferred
COVID vaccine and one booster required
Duties/Responsibilities of Anesthesiology Physician:
Conduct comprehensive preoperative assessments to evaluate patients' medical history, current health status, and anesthesia risk factors.
Administer various types of anesthesia, including general anesthesia, regional anesthesia (such as epidurals and nerve blocks), and local anesthesia.
Respond promptly to any changes or complications that may arise during anesthesia administration.
Monitor patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) or intensive care unit (ICU) following surgery to ensure a smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery.
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team to optimize patient outcomes and ensure coordinated perioperative care.
