A Wisconsin state correctional facility in New Lisbon, Wisconsin is looking for Family Nurse Practitioners to cover the outpatient unit. Full and part-time shift schedules are available. Position has potential to transition to a hybrid schedule once onboarding is complete.

Qualifications of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

  • Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner License

  • Board Certified

  • Proficiency in EPIC

  • COVID vaccine and one booster required

  • 1 year experience required

Duties/Responsibilities of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP):

  • Function independently in managing the direct and indirect care of incarcerated individuals

  • Educate the inmates to promote wellness

  • Prevent health problems and maintain current health

  • Intervene in acute and chronic illness.
