Location: Remote – Must be within a 1.5-hour drive of Fontana, Downey, Kern County, San Diego, Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, Orange County, CA
Setting: TELEMEDICINE
Term: 6 months with option to extend
Shift Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $120-$125/hr
Our client is seeking qualified Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join their telemedicine team, providing critical care and support to patients across various locations in California. This full-time, 6-month assignment offers the flexibility of remote work, with a requirement to be within 1.5 hours of key locations. The role focuses on managing a diverse patient population, with particular attention to seasonal increases in patient volume.

Qualifications of Family Medicine physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner (pa/NP):
Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the state of California.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Proficiency in telemedicine platforms and electronic health records (experience with EPIC is a plus).
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
Duties/Responsibilities of Family Medicine PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OR Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP):
Provide telemedicine services with a primary focus on managing patients with weight management needs, medication regimens, and chronic conditions.
Deliver care for patients with cold, flu, and COVID-19 symptoms, adapting to seasonal patient volume increases.
Manage patient panels efficiently, including follow-ups and new patient assessments.
Utilize electronic health records (EHR) proficiently to document patient care and manage workflows.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
