A hospital in Anaheim, CA is looking for an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant. Provider open to rotating weekends with days of the week off preferred. 35 hours required per week/70 hours every two weeks.

Qualifications of EMERGENCY Medicine Physician ASSISTANT (PA):

  • Active California Physician Assistant License

  • Active BLS Certification

  • Active DEA license

  • Board Certification required

  • Proficiency in EPIC

  • COVID vaccine and one booster required

  • 1 year emergency medicine experience within the last 3 years

Duties/Responsibilities of EMERGENCY Medicine Physician Assistant (PA):

  • Provide care to mainly Fast Track patients – lower acuity, but must be comfortable with higher acuity if needed in main ER

  • Follows principles of sterile technique

  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Document patient care in medical records
