A California state correctional facility in Corcoran, California is looking for psychiatrists. These locum tenens positions are 6-month terms with the ability to extend. Full and part-time shift schedules are available, please inquire about your preferred schedule.

Qualifications of Psychiatrist:
Current CA MD/DO License
Current CA DEA Certificate
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Duties/Responsibilities of Psychiatrist:
Evaluate and diagnose mental health disorders
Develop and implement treatment plans
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications working with pharmacist
Provide psychotherapy services
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
Maintain patient records and write reports
